DOLCETTO D’ASTI


Ruby red in color with a dry and harmonious flavor: Dolcetto is an everyday wine and the most authentic of all Piedmont wines.


It goes well with any meal thanks to its versatility and pleasantness due to a contained natural acidity, which gives freshness to every sip. The aroma is intense, hinting red fruit, often evident notes of cherry, with a typically almond finish.

On the table, Dolcetto d'Asti Duchessa Lia perfectly accompanies traditional appetizers: battuta di Fassona, veal with tuna sauce, insalata russa. But it also goes well with first courses of fresh pasta and second courses of red or white meat, roasts and boiled meat. The best match for Dolcetto d'Asti is bagna cauda, a typical sauce made with garlic and anchovies that locals use for dipping.
