WATERMELON AND FETA SALAD
accompanied by a nice glass of Asti Secco Docg Duchessa Lia
Ingredients for 2 people
- 150 g of cherry tomatoes
- 1 slice of watermelon
- 80 g of feta
- 1 slice of bread
- basil to taste
- extra virgin olive oil to taste
- salt and pepper
Divide the cherry tomatoes in half or four, season with oil, salt and basil. Cut the bread into cubes and toast it in a pan with a drizzle of oil until it becomes crunchy. Cut the watermelon and feta into cubes (the latter can either crumble or cut into cubes). Assemble all the ingredients, adding a pinch of pepper, more basil and oil to taste.
Accompanied by his "His Majesty" Duchessa Lia Asti Secco Docg, a dry Asti Spumante from Moscato grapes, straw yellow in color, with a dry and balanced flavor, fruity scents and scents of wisteria and acacia.
