The most important Italian wine fair is postponed until next year
April 18-21, 2021
The edition number 54 of Vinitaly will not be held in 2020 but, in agreement with Veronafiere, it will slip directly to April next year.
The news is official. After trying to postpone the dates in mid-June, the Vinitaly organizers adjust to the protracted Covid-19 emergency and, responsibly, postpone everything to next year.
The announcement was issued through a press release through which the Veronafiere Group redefines its structures to reorganize its business and address both the current emergency and the redesign of all actions in view of the recovery.
As stated in the press release: "The persistence of the Coronavirus emergency at national level, with the succession of the urgent decrees of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, and the most recent propagation of the same at European level and beyond, have made certain decisions postponed. For these reasons, the board of directors has resolved on many essential aspects for the continuation of the Group's business, including redefining objectives, strategies and investments for the safety of products, its customers and business. related sectors. "
It is the first time in its history that Vinitaly must postpone its edition by one year. With it are also postponed all the fairs and concomitant events.
The new dates of the event are therefore rescheduled to April 18-21, 2021, while Veronafiere will concentrate the second part of the year 2020 to support the business of Italian companies on the markets.
