BARBERA D’ASTI DOCG SUPERIORE GALANERA
The most distinguishing note of the Barbera d’Asti is its freshness: that pleasant rush which, at every sip, calls for another one.
The “Superiore” version completes its freshness with a sensational complexity given by the various wood transfers. As in the case of the Galanera, a Barbera d’Asti DOCG Superiore from Duchessa Lia, a winery located in Santo Stefano Belbo, in the Langhe, engaged in the production of the most noble Piedmont wines and sparkling wines: 14 months of aging, most of which spent in oak barrels, which endows it with a grandeur for the great occasions.
For Christmas, bring Galanera to the table to pair with stuffed pasta: agnolotti with meat sauce, ravioli, cappelletti or tortellini. Galanera also matches gnocchi with Castelmagno, lasagna and – why not – a classic tagliatelle dish.
